Ohio CE hours for the 2026\u20132028 renewal cycle<\/h2>\n

The Ohio State Chiropractic Board lists 36 CE hours<\/strong> for the regular chiropractic renewal cycle: 34 chiropractic hours<\/strong> and 2 board-mandated hours<\/strong>. Its stated earning window is April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2028. Special rules and first-renewal exemptions may apply; check your individual license status.<\/p>\n

Are online chiropractic CE hours allowed in Ohio?<\/h2>\n

Ohio\u2019s board states there is no general cap on online CE hours<\/strong>. However, its online-education rules are detailed: a qualifying program must monitor participation and time, test knowledge, support contacting the provider, and provide completion verification only after requirements are met. The rules also address unattended sessions and simultaneous courses. A college\u2019s course listing alone does not prove every platform feature complies with all board criteria.<\/p>\n

What these courses cannot replace<\/h2>\n

Do not assume a course on applied kinesiology or functional neurology satisfies Ohio\u2019s two board-mandated hours<\/strong>. Those subjects have distinct requirements.
